Dear Delegates, Esteemed Colleagues, and Young Talents,
Greetings from ICFAI University Tripura!

It is with immense pride and excitement that we welcome you to the 38th AIU Inter-University North-East Zone Youth Festival, “Tarang Utsav,” scheduled from January 27th to January 31st, 2025, at IUT campus. We are deeply honoured by the trust bestowed upon us by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, in providing us this opportunity to host such a prestigious event.

The ICFAI University, Tripura was established under the provisions of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) University, Tripura Act 2004 (Act No.8 of 2004), passed by the Tripura State Legislative Assembly. The University is approved, recognized, and listed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University Tripura is part of ICFAI Group consisting of 11 universities and 9 ICFAI Business Schools (IBS) spread across the country.

As we celebrate 20 years of excellence in education, this festival holds a very special significance for us. “Tarang Utsav” is not only a platform for showcasing talent but also a vibrant celebration of India’s diverse cultural heritage. It serves as a wonderful opportunity for young artists from across the North-East to come together, exchange ideas, and foster bonds that reflect the spirit of unity and harmony of our nation.

ICFAI University Tripura is committed to providing a warm and hospitable environment for all delegates. We eagerly anticipate hosting participants and teams from across the North-East, who will bring with them the colours, sounds, and rhythms of their unique cultural expressions. The festival will feature a multitude of events in Music, Dance, Theatre, Literary, and Fine Arts, each designed to highlight the remarkable creativity and energy of our youth.

We extend a heartfelt invitation to your esteemed institution to participate in this prestigious mega event and contribute to its success. “Tarang Utsav” is a celebration of not just talent but also the values of camaraderie, diversity, and cultural appreciation that form the essence of our society.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings from ICFAI University Tripura!

We are thrilled to announce that The ICFAI University, Tripura has been granted the privilege to host the 38th AIU Inter-University North-East Zone Youth Festival 2024-25, “Tarang Utsav,” by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. The festival will be held from 27th January to 31st January, 2025. We extend our sincere gratitude to AIU for this opportunity and look forward to welcoming delegates from across the country with warm hospitality.

In light of this, we invite your esteemed University/Institution to participate in various events during the Youth Festival, in accordance with AIU guidelines. Enclosed are the details regarding participation, venue, rules and regulations, eligibility, registration fees, accommodation, event guidelines, and Forms I to V. These forms can be downloaded from our website at https://tarang.iutripura.in/.

We kindly request you to register your contingent as early as possible, but no later than 17th January, 2025. Please complete and sign the required forms, and send them along with the registration fee payment proof, via email to tarangutsav@iutripura.edu.in. Additionally, please send the hard copies, along with the payment receipt, by registered post to: The hard copy of the filled forms and the receipt of the payment made has to be sent through registered post to Cultural Coordinator, The ICFAI University, Tripura, PO; Kamalghat, Mohanpur, West Tripura-799210.
